Between readings you open the dashboard to answer three questions: who is next and what did we cover last time, what needs a decision, and who have I let slip. Until now the answers sat under a row of statistics. Today the dashboard opens on your day instead.
Your day, first
The first card is Today. It carries the date in your time zone and the Moon's current sign, then four short lists.
Sessions shows today's and tomorrow's approved bookings in order: the time, the client, the service, and a line from your last session with them, "Last time, 12 Aug: …", drawn from that session's follow-up note, or its summary or key themes when there is no note. If it's your first session with someone, the line says so. The next session is framed so it stands out; a session that already ended stays in the list, dimmed. Join appears when the booking has a video link, and View opens the client. An approved booking that has no time yet shows "Time to confirm".
Decisions gathers everything waiting on you: pending session requests, late payments to refund or keep, and new leads. The buttons are the same ones you know, in the same place every time.
Overdue lists follow-ups that are past due, oldest first, with how many days late. It shows five, with "and N more" opening the full list.
Birthdays shows clients whose birthday is today or tomorrow.
On a quiet day the card says so, and names the next session or follow-up on your calendar.
Practice insights, on request
Your stats and their expandable lists have not gone anywhere. They now live under Practice insights, just below the Today card, with three numbers on the closed bar: sessions this month, upcoming follow-ups, overdue. Open it when you want the full picture; your browser remembers whether you left it open.
Two things to know
- "Today" is your own day. The dashboard uses the time zone from your Booking Setup settings, so a session at 9 in the morning is at 9 in your morning. If you have never set one, it defaults to UTC.
- The Moon sign is worked out on our own servers from an astronomical ephemeris. No outside service is involved.
Better on a phone
The dashboard is where most of you land between sessions, often on a phone, so it now behaves like it knows that. Every button and filter chip is comfortably tappable, the search box no longer makes iOS zoom in when you tap it, the page heading no longer follows you down the screen, and the Today card starts higher up so the next session is on the first screen.
Keyboard and screen readers
Over the past few days the whole app became properly reachable without a mouse. There is a skip link at the top of every page, a visible focus ring, and a mobile menu that opens and closes from the keyboard. On the dashboard, the stat tiles are real buttons that announce whether they are open, client names are links, every filter control has a name, and decorative icons stay silent. Several low-contrast labels and buttons were fixed along the way.
Smaller changes
- New readers see a single "Add your first client" call to action instead of four.
- A free account at its five-client limit sees "Upgrade to add more clients" on the dashboard rather than a button that fails on the next page.
- Fonts load faster and in the exact weights the interface uses.
- The home page opens with a drawn natal wheel, the sign-up button reads "Create free account" everywhere, and animation respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
